Spec Spot, "a video library and community site for those engaged in the TV advertising industry." There are a few on there that would never make on it the air. Then from time to time, I'm surprised and see an ad that I didn't expect to see broadcast--say for example, the Chiclets ad with words that sound like dirty words.

A trailer for Alone in the Dark with Christian Slater, Stephen Dorff and Tara Reid is out. You decide, do you wish you could have those two minutes of your life back? Sorry dial up users, this may take a while to download. Hrm, this guy's (Uwe Boll) got all sorts of video game movies on his bio--House of the Dead (pretty horrible, from what I've heard), Far Cry, Bloodrayne, and the previously mentioned Alone in the Dark.

Yet again, zombies are part of an entry of mine. Great.

To our office. So, we've got an office manager now--our department hasn't had one since the creation of the department however many years ago. It will take some getting used to, since she seems to be competent, and on top of things already.

Huh. I did not know that it was made for $130,000 and then later picked up by Lions Gate for quite a bit more than that.

I've managed to get my In box from 121 messages to 18 messages--and that isn't counting LJ related stuff. Ay.

The bright yellow house I mentioned a few entries back had someone walking around on the roof this morning. Perhaps someone's moving in? I hope they don't fix the smiley face shed before I get a chance to take a picture of it.

Oh yes, our student worker Josh found a sign on the side of the road. It was an ad for a Hassle Free $99 Divorce along with an 800 number, and a disclaimer at the bottom of it that reads, "Not a legal firm."

He's been driving around with it in the rear window of his car. I told him that he should add, Ask for Josh to the bottom of the sign, and then call the number after a couple of weeks. Josh has thought about it. Hasn't done it, but has thought about it.
