Ants all scatter to high ground
Keeping an eye on hurricane Charley, and Bonnie--even if she shouldn't affect our area. I think we'll be set, and if things get bad, we will most likely have family stay with us, since their home might not make through a storm. A few years ago, I remember spending most of the night awake in our living room (it wasn't ours back then), and waiting to see what whatever storm was threatening to hit us would do. It eventually ended up not doing anything, and I groggily had to go into work the next morning, but I left at noon.
Not wanting to be complacent, we're going to keep a close watch on this one, just to be sure we won't get hit too hard, if at all.
I wanted to die after mowing the lawn yesterday--'cause you know, we have to have the grass mowed for a storm. : ) I must have had quite a bit of dust and/or pollen stuck in my nose. It was horrible, and that combined with the infernal heat was a pretty effective one-two punch.
