Talk about close calls

It's interesting that Edie Brickell and New Bohemians playful song Oak Cliff Bra played on my MP3 player tonight.

After Rachel had written up a list of things we needed from Wal-Mart, I sat down with it to make sure I was getting the right things, like I usually do. It's a retentive habit, but I do it to ensure that I will buy the right things--right brands, right variety, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.

As I read the list, I did a double-take.

On it, Rachel had written Soylent Green.

At Wal-Mart, it was half tempting to ask if there were any varieties of Soylent Green available. Perhaps one day.

Because I can't make and sell rat appendix chow mein or Knob sausage chow mein in KoL quickly enough, and I watched the Everquest Icons show on G4, I've gone out in search of other games.

Guild Wars seems like it'd be interesting to me, and hey, no monthly fees. Woo! Still in search of my Quake III CD--it's got to be hiding out somewhere. A replacement can be easily bought, though.

Legend of the Green Dragon piqued my curiosity, and I'm on there as Server Monkey. Because my friend Matt mentioned it a while ago, I'm also playing Runescape. Kings of Chaos has been mildly addicting, though I'm not quite sure why. Lastly, I also signed up for The Mafia Boss, as servermonkey though.

Has anyone else watched this thing with Adam Goldberg in it?
