Talk about close calls

It's interesting that Edie Brickell and New Bohemians playful song Oak Cliff Bra played on my MP3 player tonight.
After Rachel had written up a list of things we needed from Wal-Mart, I sat down with it to make sure I was getting the right things, like I usually do. It's a retentive habit, but I do it to ensure that I will buy the right things--right brands, right variety, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
As I read the list, I did a double-take.
On it, Rachel had written Soylent Green.
At Wal-Mart, it was half tempting to ask if there were any varieties of Soylent Green available. Perhaps one day.

If you ask some half-witted Wal-Mart associate if they carry any Soylent Green, I will pay you. Well, maybe not...but I guess I could send you the copy of the Twilight Singers record I promised you ages ago.
