Ah, well, from what I've heard, it seems pretty painful. But I'd rather have a miserable week and be done with them.

They're just useless back there, kind of like a back seat driver for the rest of my teeth--and they don't clean up very well.

I need my wisdom teeth taken out also, every once in a while I have excruciating pain in the back of my mouth, and I think it could be my wisdom teeth trying to come through, or it could be one (or many) of the 13 cavities I have . . .who knows. But I'm going in to the dentsit (actually dental student at UF, it's much cheaper since I don't have dental insurance).

But I feel your pain! (really . . .) :)

i went the affordable option which was to have one ripped out every 6-12 months. that way i could save up for each one and i didn't have to pay for general anesthetic.

i was a bit of an expert by the last one and had a minor argument with the dentist (accusing him of trying to rip me off) when he wanted to take a pre-extraction xray :)

I actually had one out the day after Christmas... I was back on my feet the next day... yay for happy gas!!
