Tony Bennett - Fly Me to The Moon
Collective Soul - Heavy
Nelly Furtado - Powerless (Say What You Want)
Green Day - Basket Case
Nicki French - Total Eclipse of the Heart
Modest Mouse - The World at Large
Violent Femmes - Kiss Off

Yes, I listen to Tony Bennett. Sometimes.

My first memory of Collective Soul's Heavy was not from airplay or a burnt CD someone may have shared with me. Nope, not at all. I remember it clearly as the song from a level of Action Quake 2 that a bunch of building, a park or two and (of all things) a half-pipe. You could actually run up and down the vert, get air and machine gun duel with whomever you were playing with at the time. More so, the amount of laughter any of us would get into whenever said duels would take place was indescribable. Quite a few stomach muscles were sore during those times. It's fun, really. Won't you?

I have to say, I am more a fan of "old" Nelly Furtado. You know, when she sang I'm Like a Bird. I don't really care for that song, though.

Did I ever tell you about the time I missed a Green Day show just before they broke because I was feeling particularly lazy one day? My wife was quite excited to go to it, too but I couldn't be bothered. Oh, well, I just told you about it. Plus, I FAIL at life, so there.

Not quite sure how this version of Total Eclipse of the Heart got onto my playlist, but it's there. It, obviously, is making me want to get a hold of Footloose and watch it. Maybe dance, too. Yes, I know that song wasn't on it, Holding Out For a Hero by Bonnie Tyler was. It's close enough of a connection for me.

Modest Mouse always reminds me of Talking Heads. That's all I have to say 'bout that.

Now, Violent Femmes actually triggered a Clarissa Explains It All flashback for me. Wasn't there an episode where she'd defending her decision to listen to Violent Femmes to her parents? I believe her argument consisted that the Violent Femmes were neither violent nor femmes. Something like that, you'll have to refresh my memory if that's not correct. Yes, I do ♥ Melissa Joan Hart, if you were curious.

Possible; Violent Femmes guested on Sabrina the Teenage Witch too.

Whoa! No way!

For being a MJH fan, I didn't really watch Sabrina too much. I felt odd doing so.
