The Police - Synchronicity II
Stevie Wonder - We Can Work It Out
Black Flag - Jealous Again
Tori Amos - Virginia
Hall & Oates - Did It In a Minute
Jamiroquai - Canned Heat
R.E.M. - Just a Touch

Somewhere, my poor vinyl copy of The Police's Synchronicity is gathering dust. I wish someone else is getting some sort of enjoyment out of it, but the reality of it is that it's either in my mother's storage area (affectionately renamed the Cave) or in a landfill. The latter option would sadden me, though.

My music player seems to have a bit of a sense of humor throwing Stevie Wonder and Jamiroquai into my Friday Seven.

Somewhere, Henry Rollins (and probably Greg Ginn) is probably twitching since his music is being played and then followed by Hall & Oates. I do, however, want to listen to Method of Modern Love now. I have had the most difficult time locating Black Flag's live Who's Got the 101/2? on CD. I was close once, but didn't buy it. My stepfather always said his favorite albums were the live ones, but I disagreed for quite a while. Then I listened the Who's Got the 101/2? and got a bit of what he was saying. Easily one of my favorite live albums while I was in middle/high school.

Lastly, I've mentioned this before, but I'll say it again: I will NEVER forgive myself for not buying the R.E.M. bootleg I found in Blue Note Records YEARS ago. At the time, fifty dollars seemed like a lot of cash to shell out. I was wrong. Yeah, I said it, I was wrong. The newer live release of theirs is okay, but I really wanted that old collection. Bummer.

EDIT - I didn't even mention Tori. Virginia's not one of my favorite songs of hers, or one I even know well. I've lost count how many times I've seen Tori live. At least five or so. Only one time did her show disappoint me, but it may have been that I didn't like the venue. It was at the UCF arena, I think. Sorry about that, UCF.
