Why can't it be a Birkenstock? They make some crazy stuff. Sure, those are UGLY... but I can see it being a Birk.

I love my Birkenstocks. They're kind of weird themselves.

It's much too "dressed up"? I'm used to the standard Birks with the earth tone colors.
