Range of emotions

While R.E.M. has pretty much disavowed Shiny Happy People, it is nonetheless too fun too watch it performed as Furry Happy Monsters on Sesame Street. One has to wonder if and just how drunk Peter Buck is whilst performing the song.

I kind of sat in a daze when I read that Aaron Spelling had died. As I did so, Rachel piped in with, "Mike, you didn't know the man personally, you know." But really, the man made so many shows that I grew up watching and so in a sense he was in my house in a sense and I felt that I did know him even if in a very minimal sense (though really not at all). Tori hasn't called though.

Furry Happy Monsters is the saving grace of Shiny Happy People. Before, having Kate Pierson sing backup was the saving grace of Shiny Happy People.

That song ruins the entire flow of an otherwise brilliant album.
