So, perhaps the LJ blocking done by our filter was some sort of error? I only say that since I'm now able to log in and actually get to my friends page, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. Glad for it, but keep thinking it'll go away again. We'll see, I suppose.

So, have made an appointment to have my teeth extracted. Next Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. Could have had it done this morning at 9:30 a.m. but didn't think that short of a notice would go over too well (it didn't actually). The thing is that I've not spoken to anyone that's had teeth extracted and NOT had a tough time with it. Would it be possible to will myself to be better faster? With any hope, that will be what happens.

Brought in some cake to share with the co-workers and could only think to label it: "Eat and be merry." Last week, I labeled the snacks brought in: "To serve man." I don't think anyone really got it. Same thing with the "Share and enjoy" label I made for something else.

Apparently, we bring a LOT of stuff to eat to our office.

Oh, and iTunes, you're so funny, playing Dr. Feelgood whilst I write an entry on tooth extractions. Hmmm.

Next one should be "Enjoy This Soylent Green."

Definitely!

At least ONE person here should catch that one.

Thank you.

Mine wasn't a pleasant experience, but it honestly wasn't awful.

I had local anesthesia and used nitrous. A couple were impacted and fun for the doc to remove, but I did fairly ok. The nitrous actually was nice, and I'm laying there, wiggling my toes and feet to the oldies playing on the muzak.

My recovery time wasn't too bad. I lived on ice cream, pudding, yogurt, and protien/meal replacement drinks for a while- until my jaw didn't hurt. The muscles and joint were sore.

My stitches were dissolving, and I did fine with those.

Just remember to rinse with salt water. And not smoke or drink. Or use straws.

Get lots of protien and vitamin c, water, and rest. You'll heal just fine. Do things that make you happy- play with the kids, watch good movies, you know, the good stuff.

IM me if you wanna chat with a girl with a good experience.

When I was younger, I had 3/4 of my baby teeth extracted (tehy just wouldn't come out whent he time came!). It was not a good experience, but then again, I was younger with a lower pain tolerance.

A couple years ago, I got my wisdome teeth out. I was completely out of it and it wasn't quite as bad as some will tell you. For me, as long as I was not awake during the procedure, I was fine. It took a few days to heal, but by the fourth all was well again. The second day was the worst.

Best of luck to you!
