Just got an e-mail reminding me of Terry (and his sister's) birthday. Terry, if you recall is my college roommate that died as a result of cancer.

It makes me wonder if his sister would want a call, or not, and what the proper etiquette about it all would be.

I think it would be quite touching and nice if you called, even if it was just to talk to her. I think that would me alot to her

One of the complaints I've heard most often from people that I've worked with is that they think people "forget" about their loved one and their grief. I'm sure that a phone call or card would mean a lot- not in a "I know how you feel"way, because no one does, but in a "wow, he really was loved" way.
