Steven Drozd's 90210 story on a recent episode of Dinner for Five (the one with Drozd, Adam Goldberg, Giovanni Ribisi, and Christina Ricci) struck me as funny. The Flaming Lips had played on an episode of 90210 and were then at an after taping/filming photo op for Entertainment Weekly (or some magazine he couldn't remember). He noticed that Jennie Garth wasn't there and leaned over to Tori Spelling to ask her, "Hey, where's Jennie Garth?"

Tori then snapped back, "What, I'm not GOOD enough for you??!!"

At the end of that same episode, Adam Goldberg was making fun using that same expression. Rachel and I were rolling we were laughing so hard. I imagine it's much more humorous if one has watched it, so do so, though you may not find it nearly as funny as we did.

Also, Christina Ricci's voice reminded me of someone, but I couldn't quite place it. That will bug me until I remember who it is she reminds me of.

Now, off to a meeting. This will be our first meeting with our new department head.

Well, he seemed personable in the episode--not at all crazy. There were jokes about his being drunk, though that may have been pre-Scientology.

If I remember correctly, he was either having a beer or light wine with his meal. I could be wrong, though.

Tori Spelling totally redefines the phrase "worthless douche."

The only things nice I can say about her are she doesn't act like Paris Hilton, and she doesn't starve herself half to death just so the tabloids will talk about her. That's it.

I do have to add that she was okay (read: she didn't have that much to say, well, that I could remember) in The House of Yes--though I favored Parker Posey MUCH more in it.
