Festivals, New Media, and Movies

Thanks to Razor magazine, I now know about some events/festivals in June. While the 54th National Square Dance Convention in Oregon or the Texas Scottish Festival and Highland Games may attract some people's fancy, what really caught my eye was Custer's Last Stand Reeactment in Montana. Sadly, none of those are anywhere near my area. Oh well.
There's also an interesting piece entitled "The Death of Old Media" which I still need to finish.
Lastly, I wasn't all that impressed with the trailer I saw for Keira Knightley's new movie Domino, however, the writers at Razor disagree. Considering that Tony Scott is directing and the screenplay was written by Richard Kelly--you know, the guy behind Donnie Darko, which I worshipped for some three days last year--I suppose I could have been WAY off. Still, most probably it will be a renter, since there are so many movies making their way to theaters.
Oh yeah, Season I of Lost is set to be released on DVD September 6th. w00t!
Yes, I am watching an episode of The Tick (The Tick vs. Dinosaur Neil) as I type this. It's been a LONG time since I've watched it, and I didn't know that Toon Disney was running it at 11:00 p.m.
