I'm always a sucker for origami, I guess.

Origami

From: [identity profile] syreene.livejournal.com
It's some great stuff...I taught origami to kids as part of my student teaching work. I still do it when I am bored or waiting in line for something...I'll just take out a bit of scrap paper and end up leaving cranes and frogs everywhere...kind of like Decker's partner from Bladerunner. ;D

It's too bad she won't live! But then again, who does?

Good ol' Gaff. It's still a bit odd to me to see Edward James Olmos playing Commander Adama, but I'm getting used to it.

Battlestar Galactica is woven through many memories of my childhood...so the thought of Starbuck being a girl and Cylons looking like humans just put it off for me. :/

I thought I wouldn't be able to get past that, (and really, Dirk Benedict defined Starbuck, you know?) but Katee Sackhoff is growing on me. I was surprised that Colonel Tigh and Boomer were changed as well. I miss references to centons, hectares and such. Overall, though I've really been liking the new series.

In a way, it somewhat makes sense that Cylons would try using sleeper agents that look human to get intel and such. Sort of? Maybe?

Maybe, but I think many of us were hoping to see cooler versions of the characters we loved, instead of this major rewrite. Then again...it could just be me. ;)

My hubbie has a BG starship fighting game for the PS2 at home...lots of fun, but man is it hard!
