Coming Attractions and Glenn Close

Movie previews are sometimes more enjoyable for me than the feature presentation. In any case, whenever E!'s Coming Attractions showed a few this morning, I kind of didn't pay much attention.
Then there was Christina Ricci. Christina Ricci in a werewolf movie? One that's directed by Wes Craven? OK, I'll bite. I'll have to read more on it sometime.
Boy, Glenn Close really jumped into the role of Cruella DeVil, eh?
I'm going to have dig up my copy of Stay Awake: Various Interpretations of Music from Vintage Disney Films now. It's been a while since I've listened to The Replacements doing their version of Cruella DeVil or Sinead O'Connor's treatment of Someday My Prince Will Come. One of the standout tracks on it is Little April Flower as reinterpreted by Michael Stipe, Natalie Merchant, and The Roches. Absolutely amazing, I tell ya! If you ever see it anywhere, buy it.
