i picked up the first collection of The Walking Dead, based on my own love of zombies. i didn't really dig it though. the first thing that turned me off was the author's introduction, where he tells us how great he is and how this is gonna be the best zombie story ever (in so many words). i never finnished reading the whole thing. is it worth it?

Not sure yet, guess I'll have to find a copy of one on the cheap.

Perhaps the author was being facetious? Maybe not. Still, curious about it nonetheless.
