Ill.

I was up most of the night last night, sick as a dog. I'm not feeling great, and I've decided that if I hurl today (I almost did twice this morning), I'm going home.

Rachel's sister has come for a visit with her son, but if I'm still ill, I'm not going anywhere near the baby, since I might share whatever it is that I have. That would NOT be good.

No food looks particularly appetizing, but some water sure would be good about now. Juice would be nice too, but that might wreck my stomach, so probably not a good idea.

Verizon DSL is coming to our home on Friday. Hope the equipment gets there before then. Netflix is definitely going, but Rachel and I already decided on that last month.

You should be home and certainly not at the office where other people congregate, Mike.
If you don't believe me, expel a lung (give him a good phlegmy cough) onto your boss's telephone handset and then ask him yourself while he's dousing the thing with antiseptic spray.

Feel better soon though, Mike. Rest, Rest and more Rest.

Thanks.

Ah, the bonus of working in my isolated temporary office is I'm hidden from quite a few people.

If I'm dragging after lunch, I'll probably head out. Maybe. I just hate using my sick days, 'cause I know there might be other times I can use 'em.

If I do throw up, I should Nextel the boss though, huh?

I hope you feel better. Don't feel guilty about taking sick time. That's what you get it for.

Thank you. You're right, I shouldn't really feel guilty about it. The kicker is that I'll probably still get Nextel calls even if I were relaxing at home.

DSL is an awesome thing. Make sure they give you a modem and keep after them until they do. also Netflix is running a sale now.

Go home dude it ain't worth being here sick

The DSL package we're getting includes a modem and wireless base station.

We don't have enough time for Netflix right now. Maybe come summertime again. We used their service a LOT then.

I'm still debating about going home. A nice comfy bed is sounding good right now. So is a nice comfy chair in the LRC, too.

Okay, yeah, it's a monster big file but by the time you've d/led the movie and play it back you should be feeling a bunch better. ;-)

Enjoy the movie,

I just now got to starting to DL the movie. Still haven't had a chance to see.

You were right, though, I am feeling much better.
