Still need to get a couple of windows boarded up. So far today, I've gone in to work, helped Nicole move all her stuff out of her grandma and grandma's mobile home, torn down the remnants of our poor fence, mowed the lawn (yes, yet again I mowed the lawn the day before a hurricane comes for a visit), and helped our sister-in-law and her daughters move quite a few of their worldly possessions into our garage. Tomorrow, I also need to think about the small section of roof on our house that is missing shingles. Thankfully, it's not too large of a section, but with ten inches of rain or more expected, well, it's another thing to worry about.
Needless to say, or as I've already written, I'm SO tired. Hey,
Adam, I'm sorry I couldn't help you out when you called this morning. I hope I wasn't too brusque with you. I was pretty annoyed at the number of faculty and staff that left their PCs powered on, and made no effort at trying to at least unplug their machines. If I had my way, all the people that didn't care to take some care with their PCs would not have had them covered up. Crazy jokers.
The kids are both asleep, and I'm giving serious thought to running out for ice cream--since Rachel just asked and all. Poor Rachel hasn't felt well, and I don't know if ice cream is a good idea, but I'll go if she really wants it.
Everyone that's sent their best wishes, I really appreciate them.
I'll keep updating as much as possible.
EDIT--I also forgot to mention the home down the block with Bring it on Frances painted on the board on their front window, personally, I'd rather not have it brought.

Power is still with us, and communications have held up well--much better than last time as well.
Abby's a bit scared right now, but I'll be able to get her back to sleep. Everyone's doing well, though, and no injuries.
Still hanging in there.
