Rachel's asleep. Abby's asleep. Cheyenne's been taken out, and the cats are content with their food and water. It's very quiet in the house, except for the PC fans and my keyboard typing clicks.

There are no ringing phones, no asinine questions to answer.

I look in on Abby one more time, and all is okay. After all the work insanity, this is a welcome respite.
