WoW vortex
Weak willed that I am, I have decided to try out WoW.
I resisted this MMORPG behemoth (I always imagine Steven Wright as the K-Billy DJ mispronouncing the word in Reservoir Dogs) for just over six years now, but after hearing my brother-in-law rave about it I chose to try it out.
It had been a while since I'd even fired up Guild Wars, and in my mind I thought it'd be so close that I'd be, "Eh, whatev."
But I wasn't.
The thing is, I can't even really explain the attraction for me. Additionally funny to me is how ashamed I am to admit that I am a WoW player now.
What a sucker I am!
I have given some thought to putting WoW cards on my wish list--since Rachel's family always wonders what I'd like to get as a gift.
Since I mentioned Reservoir Dogs, I found it interesting that TCM ran Au Revoir Les Enfants the other day. Tarantino once called that the Reservoir movie, didn't he? It's all connected in one way or another, it seems.
