Has everyone else seen the commercials for Aspercreme?

The one with the "You bet your sweet Aspercreme!" jingle? If not, it was somewhat amusing.

Dumbing Down the Arts

When the English poet Alexander Pope read his translation of The Iliad, Charles Montagu, the Earl of Halifax, objected to several passages and strongly suggested that Pope rewrite them. The poet negotiated a more reasonable course between the demands of poetry and those of the aristocracy: He returned to Lord Halifax a few months later, thanked him for his perceptive suggestions, and read him the corrected lines. The earl heartily approved the changes. What the earl didn't know was that Pope had made no changes.

Before I left for work today, Abby started singing, "I like to move it, move it!"

Both Rachel and I had NO clue where she'd heard that song, so we asked her. It was in Madagascar.

At least it's not Country Grammar, like our 10 year old niece was singing a couple of years ago. Or Drop It Like It's Hot, like ubiquitous_tTony's mom (or was it his mother-in-law?) has been singing recently.
