You know, a BLT without the T just doesn't taste right. We had no tomatoes at home, so we had to make do with what we had. Every once in a while a tomato sandwich really sounds good. It's been a long time since one has been part of a lunch or really light dinner. My very first just plain T sandwich came around twenty years or so ago.
At that time, there was no bacon, lettuce, cold cuts, or anything else to make a sandwich from. The poor tomato sitting very still in the fridge had no chance whatsoever. It was really, really tasty at the time, tomato serendipity, I guess?

Other than that I'd say dump the whole thing and have banana sandwich with mayonnaise = )

I blame Rachel for making me cross over to Miracle Whip. I was long a fan of the Hell--man's. Yeah, no cheese, we need to do some grocery shopping, as I've done ok with just cereal, some frozen pizzas, and a couple of frozen meals. It wasn't fine dining, let me tell you.
