servermonkeySomeone else wrote about the sudden explosion in mushroom growth, and I have to admit that I wished I had my camera to take pictures of the small--but getting to be rather large--group, colony, convoy, whatever of mushrooms growing beside the sidewalk on the west side of campus.

A couple of groups of them were starting a semi-circle formation, and there was one group in an almost straight line, with stragglers on the other side of the sidewalk. I'd have been very concerned if I'd seen small blue creatures running around between all of these mushrooms. But I'd have to wonder what they'd taste like, since so much effort was put into trying to capture them and prepare them in all sorts of different ways.
