Ha, yeah right! Codes, too. . .

How odd, I've been given some 40 Mountain Dew caps for the Dew U promotion. My boss and T drink a TON of Mountain Dew. Those forty caps, however, are quite a way away from the five hundred some needed for the good merchandise, though. They both want me to get the Powell designed Mountain Dew skateboard and see me on it--mostly to see how badly I could injure myself, I'm sure. I would actually prefer using the caps for one of the X Box packages that are offered--of which I just found out are all sold out, sheesh.
Anyway, the funny thing about this is that we can get it for free from our cafeteria--as long as we provide our own cups. Actually, Monica, who runs the cafe, doesn't mind if we occasionally use their cups, but really it's not too difficult to bring one in of our own, you know? So, really, why pay for the drink if one can get it for free? Yes, it is an inconvenience to get up and go across the highway to get a free drink. Yes, it is annoying when people stop us in the hall to ask if we've gotten their e-mail, solved their problem, made things right in the world, whatever. Yes, it uses up just a wee bit of gas--but really, it's free. Mostly free. On a good day, there might be orange juice, or even better, cranberry juice. The convenience of having a drink vending machine two steps outside of our office door is much too expensive for my tastes. Yeah, it's only forty dollars, but I could use that for something else.
Anything.
Oooo, Magic cards!
