That felt this way after watching the Enterprise season finale.

Yes, it's clear that the producers read all of us online saying "damn, Trek time-travel plots are lame and stupid and they suck" and, since none of them are capable of producing an independent thought above "hhhuhhh, boobies," they thought we were saying "gee I hope they do more of those great Trek time-travel plots!!"

Boobies?

Even my wife--who is not a Trek fan by any means--kind of groaned when I described the last few moments. I now wonder, though, how much damage WWII planes would do to a shuttlecraft with no deflectors?

Good question, I presume these shuttlepods aren't made from the alloys they had in the Kirk/Spock years, like "tritanium." I bet a .50 cal or whatever they were putting in warplanes back then would put a hurtin' on the shuttlepod, if they hit it right.

Yeah, boobies - you haven't noticed that there now seems to be a requirement that there be a big-chested woman in a catsuit on all Trek properties now?

But, but I thought I loved T'Pol for her intellect.

I am ashamed.

That woman is surprising me though, she's turning out to be a not-bad actress. But eh, I only watch that show if there's nothing else to do.

Yes, I agree, Jolene Blalock has been very good. When I first saw images of her out of costume, before the series started, I wondered how she would do. She hasn't disappointed me, though you and I may be in the minority. Not sure, though.

Boobies!!!

Boobies are about the only thing that makes Enterprise watchable.

Everything about the show has a "been there, done that" feeling.

I'm sorry, did you say boobies? Great, I've reverted to middle school age.

Indeed, I did.

I'm a guy.

I *like* boobies, and I'm proud of it.

This is as God/Nature intended.

If God/Nature hadn't intended for men to enjoy boobies, he wouldn't have set them front and center on women for our easy viewing. And if women didn't intend the same, they wouldn't be buying push-up bras.
