He's set to join the cast of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy!

Agreed. I was fond of the BBC one from way back when. I hope it's done right.

You're right. Sam Rockwell (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0005377/) looks like a good pick for Zaphod Beeblebrox, at least in the face. I've never seen him in any of his other work. Ever since I saw her on Dinner for Five, I just love Zooey Deschanel--sad, I'm a sucker for blonde, how typical can I get?

I can't wait until the movie's all done and out--and I hope the other books are made as well.

Cult leader...? Which character is that? I haven't read the series in almost 5 years.

Hrm. That is odd. You know, in my excitement at Malkovich's joining the cast, I neglected to pay closer attention to what role he'll be playing.

I, like you, can't recall a cult leader either. I, also like you, haven't read any of the books in a LONG time, and have to admit that, as much as I love the series, I don't own any of the copies of the books.

I am ashamed. Although, as long as Will Smith isn't in it, we might be okay (I saw the preview for I, Robot this morning, and have got a very bad feeling about it).

According to IMDB (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0371724/), Malkovich plays Humma Kavula. For some reason, that name just doesn't ring a bell, though.

there was a ripple in the universe just now as the great winamp playlist gods played the same song in two locations at the same time. I just didn't know it till now. Did you feel the tear also?
