I remember listening to Precious Little by Eleanor McEvoy on the radio twice. After the first time I heard it, I was fortunate that the DJ said who it was. By the second time the song played on the radio, I believe I'd already bought a copy of the CD. No one else had it, and really felt sad about that, I guess she's one of those artists that caught me at the right place and the right time.

I missed her 1999 release, Snapshots--iTunes, however, did not, and it's available on there. I am quite pleased, to say the least. What's Following Me? is also available on there.

My wife Rachel and I were going to have a crib crisis. We lent the crib we'd used for Abby to one of Rachel's co-workers. She was having twins, and didn't know what she was going to do if she had to buy two cribs. Anyway, we've had a crib from our old house in storage for some time now. Unfortunately, this crib has none of the hardware, and we'd thought it would be a difficult thing to get them. There are a couple of places online that do that sort of thing. We then looked at the crib itself more closely, discovering some damage on the side rails. Sure, a chewing cover--or whatever it's called--could go over that and we'd be set.

We thought about it some more, and began thinking about just buying a new crib outright. We looked online, and made the requisite Wal-Mart and Kmart visits to look at some, but never decided on anything for sure. Oh a whim, Rachel decided to e-mail a couple of friends and within a few moments, we'd found someone else with a crib we could use. Now, Rachel wishes she could have it today or tomorrow, to have it set up during her Spring Break. Unfortunately, the family we're borrowing from is already gone on their break, and we won't get it until after Spring Break. At least we're getting a crib without having to spend money on it.

cool site for rare and hard to find music

From: [identity profile] mineral777.livejournal.com
emusic.com is a LEGAL pay to download site that has tons of artist in mp3 format. They have their old stuff and new stuff and extremely rare finds. What is cool about the site is you pay a monthly fee and however many you can download in amonth than that is how many you get. Good stuff
