Windows Server 2003, anyone?

I just signed up for my first Microsoft Event highlighting Windows Server 2003. I don't really feel like going, but if I have a chance for one prize, that'd be nice. I'll probably end up with a TechNet subscription, if anything.
The other nice bonus is usually getting to go somewhere decent for lunch, for a change (and on the Business account, even). Perhaps I can convince everyone going to go to the Cheesecake Factory.
I spent quite a while last night flipping through the MusicChoice channels. When I had Dish Network, I didn't usually agree with the songs picked for each of the genres. This was not the case with the MusicChoice channels. I really enjoyed the 80s, and New Wave channels, and it gave me more ideas for stuff to download. I haven't fully recreated my precious collection of MP3s since their demise during a horrible hard drive crash.
I still have some 75 CDs sitting beside my computer waiting to be ripped.
I'm still shuddering about this horrible wood chipper story. I didn't believe it at first, but sure enough, it happened.
And lastly, you know it's a good day at work when my other co-workers have been playing Civ III: Play the World and Magic the Gathering for the last two and a half hours or so. . .

Re: What do you do?
Probably the funniest thing about my current job is that I basically fell into it, 'cause I casually mentioned to the Director of Admissions here at the college that I might be looking for a job. About a week or so later, I got a call for an interview and said what I needed to make the move, and two weeks later I was here.
Lucky, indeed.
It's a shame about stupid people, since they seem to outnumber the more intelligent ones.
I forget who wrote/said it (probably on a bumper sticker), but I remember something going like, Stupid people shouldn't breed. Most of the time, I think Stupid People shouldn't breathe.

Hope your day goes better staying at home from work.
