Another guilty pleasure.

servermonkeyAdam Sandler and his movies are another one of my many guilty pleasures. Perhaps its an odd guy thing? There are only a few of his movies--movies, not films--that I've not seen: Going Overboard, Eight Crazy Nights, Punch-Drunk Love and maybe one other.
Anyway, Rachel had a baby shower at our home last Saturday (which is why I got to miss work) and the girl she was hosting it for brought her husband along. I don't know why she did that, but anyway. So, he, his friend and I were in the TV room, and I wasn't going to watch football--not in my house--and so I turned to Mr. Deeds.
What struck me as really odd is that Cecil and the helicopter pilots knew David Bowie's Space Oddity. That's some hip, hip 70s rock listening older dudes, I guess.
It's best not to think too much on this, right? I now feel embarrassed that I even brought it up. :(
