Curious...

Why do you keep a blog? As a journal? To post about stuff?

I'm just curious.

Also, it's after midnight and Abby's awake and simply insists that she NEEDS the pink earplugs Rachel just bought today. I'm talking she's adamant.

-- EDIT -- I had the wrong show, and still Abby stands here, whining for earplugs. I have no idea where she gets this tenacity from.

My blog is for random things about Ben, plus games, and I am trying to write more on being a volunteer as a resource. So that is the main thing about my blog. Speaking of blogs, do you even blog anymore :P

I started this lj years ago when I was moving overseas and thought it'd be a fun/easy way to keep in touch with friends/family and let people know in one swoop that I'm alive. Then it became a mix of habit and fun, writing up stories/reading about other's stories. Now I think it's more habit?

3-2-1 contact! OMG. That brings back memories. I think I had that magazine...

I blog here because it's a way to keep in touch with friends, and a way to share my feelings when I just want to vent. I blog over on Vox in order to have my book reviews public-- my students will (hopefully) find them useful next year. Assuming I get off my butt and write more of them.

It's half personal catharsis, half deluding myself into thinking that people care about what I have to say. And a couple of people actually do, so that's enough for me.
