you would be loosing 10gb of space come on man you can't be doin taht yo. Apple ruined my inner child. In addition ipods are a pain in the butt to get working and have them work well. Plus itunes is crap. Ok I will quit seething now.

It depends on how much you like iTunes because that's really the only software that works with the iPod. If you're not an iTunes fan, forget about ever having an iPod.
