Yeah. A Friday Five. . .

servermonkey1. What's the last concert you attended? I, sadly, cannot even remember. I DO remember, however, giving up a chance to go see Cake at House of Blues recently. I'm dumb.
2. Who is the best live performer you've ever seen? As much as I like music, I actually haven't been to that many concerts. The first Tori Amos concert I saw, with just her and her piano was something akin to a spiritual experience.
3. You can invite 2 artists to your house, but they must sing together. Who are they and what one song will they sing? Why, Michael Stipe and Natalie Merchant--AND I'd like for them to sing Little April Shower again. It wouldn't quite be the same without The Roches, but still.
4. Pick one to see: ABBA, Jimmy Buffet or Kenny Chesney? If this were about thirteen or fourteen years ago, when I was playing soccer, I'd definitely have picked Jimmy Buffet. Of late, ABBA seems the correct choice. Watching Muriel's Wedding again seems appropriate as well. Mamma Mia, too, I suppose.
5. Friday Freebie: Tell us anything you want about music! I wonder how desperate of a situation I'd be in now if I'd kept trying to play music.
