So, I'm using Last.fm to generate my list today. Works for me--though I do need to thank Adam 'cause the external drive he so kindly gave me a while back still has a TON of sweet, SWEET music on it. So, Adam FTW!
ELO - Telephone Line
Nick Lowe - Cruel to Be Kind
Jim Croce - Operator
Oasis - Stay Young
Tears for Fears - Mad World
Elvis Presley - Jailhouse Rock
Modest Mouse - Dukes Up
Hello. How are you? ELO typically appeals to my pop side. That's about it.
Whenever I listen to Cruel to Be Kind, I am reminded of some movie that used it. The thing is, I cannot remember which movie it was! I wish I could, but whichever one it is escapes me. Your help is appreciated with this.
Toby Lightman's cover of this gets me every time. Don't get me wrong, I like the original but I like her take on it quite a bit.
Oasis. Bleh.
Another song in which the cover of it is more affecting to me than the original. Of course, being a freak for Donnie Darko may have something to do with that.
You know, I've never seen Jailhouse Rock. Weird, huh?
I feel like listening to some Talking Heads now.
'Til next week...yes, I am sure I will find time to do this regardless of spring break.
