Quite a bit more tired this morning than I was yesterday. Peppy post-op feeling is not with me as much as it was yesterday. Thankfully, pain and nausea is to a minimum, but I'm due for my penicillin and painkillers now--just took 'em, in fact. I have also successfully brushed my teeth this morning and am set to do a saline rinse sometime. Not looking forward to that, but have to do it.

Maybe will take another...and I completely lost the train of thought that I was just on.

Anyway, hanging in there, thanks for all your comments and well-wishing, you all rock.

Oh yeah, I found out that our Library Cooperative actually has several Aaron MacGruder books in their catalog, I SO requested that they be sent to my branch for pickup. w00t! They also have about 1200 audiobooks available. Unfortunately, they're all in protected WMA format, no big deal, AND it's 1200 more audiobooks than I thought they had. w00t for that too!

It's curious how well An American Werewolf in London (to me) has held up. It's been twenty-five years since it's original release and for me it's pretty much the definitive werewolf movie.

Sure, some may say The Howling or Underworld or perhaps Dog Soldiers or Ginger Snaps (both of which I liked immensely). I've not seen Cursed yet, but from what I've read and heard it's pretty abysmal. Too much studio interference is what I've gathered.

Now, watching Griffin Dunne playing Jack, I now know who Jack Black has reminded me of in the past. Of course, I could be alone in that opinion. Jack Black is a bit more extroverted, it seems, though.

On another note, Rachel's parents are pretty cool. They just called a bit ago to see if I needed anything. Thankfully, I think I'm set, so I declined. The Fruity Pebbles and bran flakes in the cupboard taunt me, though. I can wait a few more days before partaking of some cereal joie de vivre. I KNEW I should've bought some oatmeal, though. Oh well...

It's so weird to see Miles Davis on Miami Vice, but sure enough, there he is.
