Little things
Sometimes the little things give me the greatest joy.
One little thing today was walking into one of the public restrooms immediately after it had been cleaned. At the very least, it had an anti-septic sort of odor about it--unlike the musty, horrible odor that is typically part of the restroom experience at our school. It's a sad thing that members of the academic community don't know how toilets, and more specifically flushing toilets, work.
There was no flunky in there handing out towels, though. That, I'm sure, would have been even better, too.
