It's been a busy week or so, and I've not even had time to catch my breath, much less update. I should have made time for it, as I could've used the temporary respite.

Anyway, this morning, I was convinced that Jack Wagner's All I Need was coming on the radio. I was, however, greatly mistaken as it was a Bryan Adams song playing. Part of me was curious to see if Abby would respond to Jack Wagner like she did to Rick Springfield. Guess we'll find out some other time.

Found out over the weekend that Abby doesn't care for Shrek at all. It's odd because she seemed to like the previews for Shrek 2 on TV. Apparently, she isn't too fond of Fraggles, either. I was kind of sad about that.

A friend of mine sent me Robert De Niro's opening SNL skit with him at a podium calling out names of suspected terrorists. Very amusing--and I wish I had a URL to link to it.

D'oh!

This morning on Stanley it seems like someone was having a bit of fun as Stanley said "D'oh!" very distinctly. I know I didn't misunderstand it, since the captions confirmed it. Captions, you ask? Well, one of the little things I tend to do if there are a lot of people talking or I don't want to turn the volume up too loudly is turn the captions on. I will often forget that they are on from time to time.

Another d'oh! Remember my sadness that my sound card was possibly dying? Well, apparently, there's a Sound Effect Manager installed on my taskbar--I hadn't really noticed it before. In any case, it was set to emulate sound or music playing in the bathroom! Son of a. . .I've been playing with the Sound Effect Manager, and it's really cool to hear all sounds through the Psychotic filter, and right now, I've got it set on the Padded Cell filter. I think I'm going to keep it on that one with the Pop setting for CompWide in Winamp.
