Things were going well this morning, except I was a few minutes late. Typically, this is not too much of a problem. I shuffle into the office, and get on with whatever is going on. You know, the usual: catch up on voice mail, catch up on e-mails, check the e-mail server for viruses that tried to make their way in, read some, eat some, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
My Nextel phone beeped at me, and it was Josh--one of our lab workers. Apparently, there was a class waiting to get started with their math finals. Fortunately, Josh is very competent and can follow instructions very well, and I had him set everything up for me.
At 8:08 a.m., I walked into an extremely warm lab, and everyone taking their exams. I expected a disgruntled group of students, and that wasn't the case.
Yeah, I owe Josh. Perhaps I'll take him to breakfast sometime.
