The two major state roads that intersect just outside of downtown are in the process of being worked on. It's made it so that a four lane roadway is down to a two lane one. Fortunately, there is a median as well as a slew of barricades for our protection.

Used to be I could only remember Bob's Barricades all over the place whenever there was road work. There was no one else. Today, the barricades were distinctly unmarked, as if doing their job incognito. They weren't the typical metal (I'm not sure what kind) barricade, these were little plastic ones with barrels behind them for moral support.

And yes, I'm living up to my wholly boring quiz results.

I knew she was cute and all, but I'd never have guessed Helly Kitty was such a cash, er, cow.

Onward Japanese "cute" culture!

Some of which I didn't know, and some that I did know. Guess I'm not cool enough.

Unfortunately, the load time was horrendous--even on the T1, but here it is nonetheless.

While it's not nearly as disgusting as that one monstrous chip, this Triscuit is still somewhat disturbing. Who in the world buys these things?

When I first read the piece and saw the accompanying picture, the first thing I thought of were those little BabyBel cheeses. I hated those as a child, I lean more toward the bland American cheese type of thing.

Then I thought of some really weird mad cow thing I'd seen a long while back. Ugh.

Of all those toys! I really miss some of these Fisher-Price childhood toys.

I think I sent this to [livejournal.com profile] littlespacebug a while back, but couldn't remember if I'd posted it on-line or not. And here, I'd never heard of the LEGO Users Group Network (LUGNET).
