So don't mind if I fall apart. . .

There's more room in a broken heart. . .

Sometime in my youth, I woke up and Heartburn was on, and Carly Simon's song was playing. I became a blubbering mess of a server monkey. Every time it queues up, I still get wistful--though I'm sure there are quite a few other songs that'll do the same thing, just not in the same way. So. . .

Oo wait, I just thought of an answer for the second one - actually three songs from Joni Mitchell. "Urge for Going," "The Circle Game" and "Both Sides Now" 'cuz well, it's Joni Mitchell, man.

You know, I don't think I've listened to enough Joni Mitchell. I should correct that.

Get "Hits," it is excellent. She rerecorded all her biggest hits, some of the new vocal stuff is just amazing. And of course it contains songs of HERS that were hits for OTHER people, like Crosby Stills & Nash's "Woodstock," which of course is marvelous.

She also has a disc of HER favorites that didn't hit big, called "Misses." I'm getting that one later.

Joni's my goddess.

I looked up the lyrics and that is quite the song and it is highly moving.

Yup. I agree, but then, you know that.
