Claudine Longet and Sarah Polley

Is it a bad thing that I'd like a copy of her version of God Only Knows?

That one, and Sarah Polley's off-key version, too.

The first request is thanks to a reference to it on a TiVoed episode of Gilmore Girls, and the second is from my memory of My Life Without Me.

Oo, I wonder if my Tivo got that ep.

Possibly, depending on your settings. I think Rachel and I had to manually set it to TiVo the episodes from Saturday on ABC Family.

Hope so.

Mine tends to grab them as suggestions, but not always. I like that show a lot, and not just y'know, 'cuz of Lauren Graham.

I LOVE the Suggestions option in TiVo. I'm amazed how it grabs just the right shows.

I have to say, I didn't like Lauren Graham for a LONG time, and always felt odd that I thought Alexis Bledel was good friend-cute, both have grown on me a LOT over the last couple of years. Heck, even Liza Weil is alright by me.

Liza Weil is one of those rare TV actors that can actually y'know, act.

And, not that you'd be able to tell on the show, but she's um, a very healthy young lady. Not that this is important to married old men like us.

Alexis is interesting; you'd never tell looking at her that she grew up speaking Spanish and didn't learn English until somewhat late in life. And I simply cannot wait to see what she does with the role she'll have in Sin City.

Yeah, I remember reading up on Ms. Bledel, and was SHOCKED to find out she has Argentinian ancestry. Definitely anxious to see Sin City.

Heh, I like your euphemism for Liza Weil's "healthiness." Funny. And no, I hadn't noticed, actually.
