Rita Mae Brown rocks.
Rubyfruit Jungle
was a great book. A lesbian friend of mine saw it on my bookshelf and admitted to me that she'd long thought I was "family", and finally had the guts to ask me if I was after seeing I owned a copy.
I'm not, by the way. Just "family-friendly". Heh.

I do have to admit, I am not at all familiar with Rita Mae Brown, and now feel a bit ignorant. :|
