Sigh

It was a chore getting back to work today. It always is after a three day weekend.

Abby was up really early one day, so I turned on the TV while trying to get her back to sleep. Lifeforce was on, and I haven't seen that in forever. I think I was surprised at how long Mathilda May was naked in the movie.

Dances With Wolves was on, and she just stared at the screen when the characters would speak in Sioux. She got even more perplexed when I spoke in Sioux. Her looks were just classic.

It's tough not being with Abby.

I've always liked that lyric, and I'm not sure why. I've probably written about it somewhere before, but I can't recall where.

After work, I get to have my haircut. I wish I could just take clippers to myself. It'd be much easier for me to keep my hair closely cropped instead of paying others to do it. It's annoying, because my hair doesn't grow out very nicely. It has to be a certain length before it even thinks about lying down. So, I've got about 3/4 inch of hair that sticks straight out on the sides and back. It's hideous. If it were curly, that'd be a different story, it might do something. My genes annoy me from time to time.
