I think he meant being a marching band geek. It's funny though, most of the band people in my high school weren't typically messed with.

They were a really tightly knit group, it seemed.

Yeah...the ones in my school were too. We were a small school, so the marching band geeks were the geeks. I was in band, but I didn't do marching band, lol. ;)

In middle school, I was hardcore into band.

I reformed and quit before starting high school.
