I guess the band geeks were feeling left out...lol. ;)

That is pretty freaking silly.

Who out there is playing such close attention to marching band stats?

And what information is being compiled?

I think I'm going to start setting something up. :)

One of my co-workers just IMed me and said that would get you a serious beating in high school.

Being a marching band geek, or joking about one? ;P

"Idiots are a dime a dozen."

"I want to know who is supplying the dimes." ;)

I think he meant being a marching band geek. It's funny though, most of the band people in my high school weren't typically messed with.

They were a really tightly knit group, it seemed.

Yeah...the ones in my school were too. We were a small school, so the marching band geeks were the geeks. I was in band, but I didn't do marching band, lol. ;)

In middle school, I was hardcore into band.

I reformed and quit before starting high school.

People are into some very strange things!

I don't feel too badly about my card-flopping (read: Magic) hobby.

I haven't played that in a long time. All my decks are disassembled. Nobody here to play with. And I haven't bought cards in ages, so they're probably out of date and I'd lose any way.

Disassemble? No disassemble!

My old cards may be outdated, but they can still apply the beats from time to time. Well, sometimes.

Did you ever play the Doctor Who CCG? I remember seeing it, and then it was gone.

The only card game I really played was Magic. I had the Vampire one, that was called Jyhad but I collected the cards more for the artwork.

Yup, Vampire: The Eternal Struggle. I always wondered why Wizards changed the Jyhad name.

They lost the license for it a while back, but White Wolf is still making cards, I think. It seemed like a really interesting game, but no one around here plays. After moving in to one apartment, I found I'd inherited a 1000 count box of Jyhad cards, but still never played.

They changed it because some Muslim groups got shitty with its name.

There's not really any specified detail that I can see. It's strange. Kinda juvenile.

True, someone's really into marching bands though, to go to all the trouble.
