iHome

I've had my iHome iH5 since last Christmas and have really liked it quite a bit...except for a couple of things.

After getting mine as a gift, iHome models were also made in black. Not only that, but the iPod nano adapters AND a remote are now included for the same purchase price as the one I received. One last complaint, but please keep in mind I DO really like my iHome, the thing loses time more than Mulder and Scully on a deserted country road. Since the last time that I set the clock, it's nearly fifteen minutes behind now. Fifteen minutes! It's really odd.

Ok, I had to look up what that was, but now that I see... which one do you have? How is the sound from the speakers?

Sorry, I should have provided a link, since I'm quite fond of linking to things as it is.

Well, if one was to compare the iHome to say a Bose dock or another higher end model it would pretty much be put to shame. That said, the sound isn't higher end audiophile quality, but to pop either iPod of ours into and put some music on for the kids or just to listen to while eating dinner it quite good. Unfortunately, there isn't a way to fine tune the bass and treble on it (that I've noticed, but I pretty much just took it out of the box and set it up). For something as an alarm clock using one's iPod, or casual use, it is quite a nice dock that I've been fond of. Though now that I've said that, one would have to be careful with the loss of time issue I have experienced.
