Huh...weird

As far as I recall, I cannot remember ever watching a single Robert Altman movie in its entirety.

Sure, I've seen bits and pieces of Gosford park, Pret a Porter, M*A*S*H*, The Player, Dr. T and the Women, Popeye, and some others here and there, but to sit down an invest myself wholly in one of his films...that I've not done. Will have to do that sometime--but perhaps probably NOT with Popeye. I am curious about Nashville, though and need to seek out that one song from it.

I had no idea he directed some of the movies they showed in the montage. One I have seen that I knew he directed, the Company, did not make it into the montage.

Ah ha! Yet another one that I've only seen just a bit of...

Mmmm, Neve Campbell...

I am not a big Robert Altman fan.

Really?

Still though, one would think that in my thirty-three years of life, I'd have finished at least ONE movie of his.

Naked flesh and everything? Whoa...well, then why didn't I finish that one? Oh yeah, I'm not a big Julia Roberts fan, and yet I still enjoy movies with her in them from time to time. Well, not so much Mary Reilly, but you know what I mean. Maybe.

Ah, I see. Just for the best part, then. :)

Well, like I said, I've got a lot of catching up to do.

I'm a fan of Short Cuts, personally. It was often imitated after it was made. Gosford Park is okay, but it takes a while to get into it. Pret a Porter is plain silly and disjointed.

Gosford Park is one of Rachel's favorites.

Makes me wish I still had Netflix, I'd start add some to my queue.
