Sundance, why do you torment me?

They ran a few of Michael Winterbottom's movies last night, and I was only able to watch the aforementioned 24 Hour Party People--about which I was mistaken about. Blockbuster does indeed have the right one. Go Blockbuster.

They also ran Jude and Butterfly Kiss. I'd wished I'd had a spare VHS tape, but didn't. Now I'll just have to rent them, if I can find them.

I'm in the process of looking into getting DirecTV. It'd be twenty dollars cheaper a month. Every little bit helps. Our previous experiences with Dish were okay. There were some problems near the end of the annual contract, but we'd switched to Comcast and been fairly happy. Cheaper would be better, though.

Losing Starz! would be somewhat disappointing, but getting FX, TechTV, Bravo, PBS Kids, IFC, and The Church Channel would be good. Ok, well, maybe not The Church Channel, but I'd be fine with it.

Maybe saving ten dollars a month would be okay too.

Yes it is, isn't it? Even if it is only ten dollars a month.

I think I'll look into DirecTV a bit more today.
