Holy crap! I never realized that Jack Black was in Mars Attacks!

You know. He was  Lukas Haas' military inclined brother, or was it another relative?

I'd also forgotten Pam Grier was in it as well.

no way? that was one of the worst sci-fi movies ever. right behind plan 9 from outerspace and the satan as a tornado movie. they could not do a more pathetic sci-fi movie if they tried.

Well, really if you accept it as a spoof of all the alarmist alien invasion movies of the 50s (Earth vs. the Flying Saucers, etc.) it's really quite on target.

Hey, I can justify watching Natalie Portman in just about anything.

Yup, he's in it. He's not for very long, and he's not a very likable character, but there he is.
