DDR

I have never before played Dance Dance Revolution either at an arcade, or at someone's home. At the request of ubiquitous_tTony, I decided to head to our Comm Arts area, where a PS2 has been set up on a projection screen, and hooked up to a stereo system for some Dance Dance Revolution game play during the summer months.

I think I want a PS2, DDR, two dance pads. . .

You also need someone with an mpg recorder to chronicle your mad mad moves! :D

Mmmm, not so much.

No one really needs to see my monkey flailing that will undoubtedly occur whenever I play, if I play, that is.

Awwwww.... Pppppplease????!
I wanna see the monkey flail!!! ;-)

(but I know what you're talking about. I 'dance' like the proverbial frog in a blender.)

If you do, I have one piece of advice:

Don't buy the official pads. They're horrible. I personally like the pads that Vortz puts out, although if you have the dough, this is the pad.

Cool. Thanks for the heads up.

I played it at my friend's wedding reception party, believe it or not. I enjoyed it, but I definitely think they need a bigger pad for adults, because most of the time what I thought was regular spacing was off the mark on the matt because it was designed for kids. :/

I think I'll attribute my horrible scores to the pads. :)

Heh.....I am secure with the knowledge that I passed many more songs than the teenagers did at the party. ;)
