808 State
Every time I see a digital clock displaying 8:08 as the time, I think of 808 State.
Now, I know that their name is derived from a model of synthesizer--well, scratch that, I think that band's name originates from a piece of electronic equipment, but I almost always feel an 808 kind of feeling from seeing that time displayed. Yup. What times make you think of other things?
Yes, I am listening to The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy as I work at my desk, and am in the process of making a back up copy of it. Must thank Sam (
